The 2006 Document Organizer comes with a complete audit trail built into the software.  This aduit trail shows everything that has been done inside of the Document Organizer.  Inside of the audit trail you have the ability to search each field for key words.  The audit trail can only be looked at by users that have administrative rights.  The audit trail also allows you to export the active screen to excel.  This way you can print out specific parts of the audit trail.  This keeps track of what happens to every document inside the Document Organizer.
